AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM JERRIE
LYN (REID) GERLACH AND P. DAVID GERLACH, FOR
THE EXTENSION OF ABBEY ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts an Easement, executed by Jerrie Lyn (Reid) Gerlach and P.
David Gerlach, her husband, conveying to the City an Easement for
the extension of Abbey Road, more particularly described as
follows:
An easement for ingress and egress over part of the East half of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 31 North, Range 13 East of
the Fifth Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commence at the
Southeast corner of said Section 23; thence North 000 53' 00" East
along the East line of said Section a distance of 917.87 feet to a
point North 000 53' 00" East, 50.00 feet from the Northeast corner
of Randol Farms First Addition to the City of Cape Girardeau,
recorded in Plat Book 16, Page 7 of the Land Records of Cape
Girardeau County; thence North 890 07' 00" West, along a line 50.00
feet North of and parallel to the North line of said Randol Farms
First Addition, 610.00 feet to the East right-of-way line of Abbey
Road; thence North 000 53' 00" East along said right-of-way, 778.60
feet to the place of beginning; thence North 890 07' 00" West, 60.00
feet; thence North 000 53' 00" East, 123.00 feet; thence South 890
07' 00" East, 60.00 feet; thence South 000 53' 00" West, 123.00 feet
to the place of beginning, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Cape
Girardeau County, Missouri, containing 0.169 acres.
ARTICLE 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
