AN ORDINANCE NAMING NORTHCHURCH STREET AND
PATRIOT DRIVE IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
WHEREAS, because of apparent problems in issuing street
addresses, representatives from various City Departments made
recommendations for street names, and;
WHEREAS, for purposes of fire and police protection, medical
and other emergency services, and the general convenience of the
occupants along said streets and the public at large, it is deemed
necessary to apply a suitable name to said streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The existing North Church Street, from the West
edge of curb of Lexington Avenue to the center line of Magnolia
Avenue, where it intersects North Church, is hereby named
Northchurch Street.
ARTICLE 2. The existing North Church Street, from the center
line of Magnolia Avenue to the West curb line of Paul Revere Drive,
is hereby named Patriot Drive.
ARTICLE 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
