AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED
AND A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FROM
RANDON DERIC GRISSOM AND LILLIAN ELLEN GRISSOM
FOR THE CAPE LA CROIX CREEK/WALKER BRANCH
FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed executed by Randon Deric Grissom
and Lillian Ellen Grissom, husband and wife, conveying to the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a General Warranty Deed for the Cape
La Croix Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control Project, more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That part of Lot Number 1, of Block Number 1, of
LandgrafIs Third Subdivision as shown by plat recorded in
Plat Book 6, at page 19 in the Land Records of Cape
Girardeau County, and being a part of Outlot Number 75,
of United States Private Survey Number 2199, in Township
31 North, Range 13 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of
Missouri, described as follows:
Begin at a point in Walker Creek, being on the Northeast
Corner of said Lot Number 1, thence with the North line
of said Lot, North 820 51' 23" West, 44.41 feet, to the
point of curvature of a curve to the right having a
radius of 491.18 feet, thence along the arc of said curve
a distance of 0.66 feet, to Missouri East Zone State
Plane Coordinate Northing 542,726.25, and Easting
1,096,914.70, thence South 190 50' 12" West, 25.25 feet,
to Missouri East Zone State Plane Coordinate Northing
542,702.49, and Easting 1,096,906.13, thence South 150
34' 03" West, 54.10 feet, to Missouri East Zone State
Plane Coordinate Northing 542,650.38, and Easting
1,096,891.61, thence South 730 48' 51" East, 39.56 feet,
to the Southeast Corner of said Lot Number 1, thence with
the East line of said Lot, North 200 08' 37" East, 85.58
feet, to the place of beginning and containing 3,520
square feet, more or less.
ARTICLE 2. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Temporary Construction Easement executed by Randon Deric
Grissom and Lillian Ellen Grissom, husband and wife, conveying to
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a Temporary Construction
Easement for the Cape La Croix Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control
Project, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That part of Lot Number 1, of Block Number 1, of
Landgraf Is Third Subdivision as shown by plat recorded in
Plat Book 6, at page 19 in the Land Records of Cape
Girardeau County, and being a part of Outlot Number 75,
of United States Private Survey Number 2199, in Township
31 North, Range 13 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of
Missouri, described as follows:
Commence at a point in Walker Creek, being on the

feet, to the point of curvature of a curve to the right
having a radius of 491.18 feet, thence along the arc of

1,096,914.70, the point of beginning; thence South 190
50' 12" West, 25.25 feet, to Missouri East Zone State
Plane Coordinate Northing 542,702.49, and Easting
1,096,906.13, thence South 150 341 03" West, 54.10 feet,
to Missouri East Zone State Plane Coordinate Northing
542,650.38, and Easting 1,096,891.61, thence North 730
48' 51" West, 18.34 feet, thence North 140 32' 31" East,
5.84 feet, thence North 270 22' 59" East, '74.09 feet, to
a point on the South line of Audrey Street, thence with
said South line Easterly on the arc of a curve being
concave to the North, having a radius of 491.18 feet,
5.20 feet, to the place of beginning and containing 921
square feet, more or less.
ARTICLE 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
