AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED AND A
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FROM RALPH V.
LeGRAND AND VERNEDA A. LeGRAND FOR THE
LEXINGTON AVENUE EXTENSION PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Ralph V. LeGrand and Verneda
A. LeGrand, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, a Quit Claim Deed for the Lexington Avenue
Extension Project, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section 30, Township 31
North, Range 14 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section
30, thence South 850 36' East, with the North line of
said Fractional Section 30, a distance of 688.0 feet;
thence South 150 24' West, a distance of 18.3 feet;
thence North 850 57' West, a distance of 684.5 feet to a
point in the West line of said Fractional Section 30;
thence North 040 24' East, a distance of 22.1 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning and containing 13,743
square feet, more or less.
ARTICLE 2. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Temporary Construction Easement executed by Ralph V.
LeGrand and Verneda A. LeGrand, husband and wife, conveying to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a Temporary Construction Easement
for the Lexington Avenue Extension Project, more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section 30, Township 31
North, Range 14 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, described as follows:
From the Northwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section 30, measure South
040 24' West, a distance of 22.2 feet; thence South 850
57' East, a distance of 390.0 feet to the point of
beginning; thence continue South 850 57' East, a distance
of 50.0 feet; thence South 040 24, West, a distance of
50.0 feet; thence North 850 57' West, a distance of 50.0
feet; thence North 040 24' East, a distance of 50.0 feet,
to the point of beginning,
