AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED
FROM THE CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNCIL ON AGING FOR
THE CAPE LA CROIX CREEK/WALKER BRANCH FLOOD
CONTROL PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed executed by, the Cape Girardeau,
Council on Aging, a Not -for -Profit Corporation, conveying to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a General Warranty Deed for the
Cape La Croix Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control Project, more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of Outlot 80, United States Private
Survey Number 2199, in Township 31 North, Range 13 East
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, in the City and County
of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, described as
follows:
Commence at a 6" x 6" square concrete monument marking
the Northeast Corner of said Outlot 80, thence with the
North line of said Outlot, North 820 58' 53" West, 207.40
feet, to Missouri East Zone State Plane Coordinate
Northing 542,350.64, and Easting 1,096,962.06, the place
of beginning; thence continue North 820 581 530' West,
176.07 feet, to a found 1/2" diameter iron rod marking
the Northwest corner of Lot Number 3 of Walker's
Subdivision, thence with the West line of said Lot No. 3,
-- - South 070-12" 0811-- West- 300.-03 feet; --thence South -82°--38 - - --
37" East, 154.02 feet, to Missouri East Zone State Plane
Coordinate Northing 542,054.77, and Easting 1,096,902.441
thence North 070 201 31" East, 145.76 feet, to Missouri
East Zone State Plane Coordinate Northing 542,199.33, and
Easting 1,096,921.06, thence North 150 09,* 31" East,
156.77 feet, to the place of beginning and containing
48,044 square feet, more or less.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
