AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO MICHAEL A. MATHES TO
CLEAR TITLE TO LOTS IN A RESUBDIVISION OF
CHALET TRACE SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim
Deed to Michael A. Mathes, a single person, to clear title to lots
in a resubdivision of Chalet Trace Subdivision, more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of Chalet Trace as shown on the record plat of
Chalet Trace Subdivision as shown in Plat Book 10, Page 27, except
the Northern five (5) feet being further described as follows:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
34, Township 31 North, Range 13 East in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, to -wit:
Commence at the Northwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of said Section 34; thence South with the West
line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
34, 30 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continue South 345
feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 14 of Chalet Trace Subdivision,
also being a point on the South line of a 50 -foot -wide easement for
Chalet Lane; thence in an Eastwardly and Northerly direction along
the South and East line of said 50 foot easement, 614.86 feet to a
point 5 feet South of the Northwest corner of Lot 8; thence West 50
feet to a point on the West line of said 50 -foot easement, said
point being 5 feet South of the Northeast corner of Lot 7; thence in
a Southerly and Westerly direction along the West and North line of
said 50 -foot easement, 486.4 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 3;
thence North 295 feet along the West line of Lots 3, 2, and 1 to a
point 5 feet South of the Northwest corner of Lot 1; thence West 50
feet to the point of beginning.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance will be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
