AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF SPRIGG
STREET FROM BERTLING STREET TO 123.10 FEET
NORTHERLY OF PROPOSED LEXINGTON AVENUE, IN THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade of Sprigg Street, from Bertling Street to 123.10 feet
Northerly of proposed Lexington Avenue, in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, and is in reference to Mean Sea Level.
ARTICLE 2. Begin at a point where the centerline of Sprigg
Street intersects with the centerline of Bertling Street; which for
the point of further description shall be known as Station 2 + 00
at Elevation 372.69; thence with an ascending grade of 2.0% to
Elevation 386.19 at Station 8 + 75; thence along a 200 foot sag
vertical curve to Elevation 393.19 at Station 10 + 75; thence with
an ascending grade of 5.0% to Elevation 459.77 to Station 24 +
06.69; thence along a 400 foot crest vertical curve to Elevation
467.77 at Station 28 + 06.69; thence with a descending grade of
1.0% to Elevation 449.53 at Station 46 + 30.23 and there
terminating.
ARTICLE 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
