AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PERMANENT EASEMENT
FROM UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR SEWER
MAINTENANCE AT THE LA CROIX SUBSTATION SITE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Permanent Easement, executed by Union Electric Company,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a Permanent
Easement for operation and maintenance of a sewer line at Union
Electric Company's LaCroix Substation Site, more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of the West Half of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 26, Township 31 North, Range 13 East
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Cape Girardeau,
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, described as follows:
From the Northeast corner of the West Half of the
Northeast Quarter, measure southerly along and with the
East line of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter a
distance of 1475.5 feet to the point of beginning;
thence, a 16.0 feet permanent utility easement lying
coincident to, perpendicular to, and 8.0 feet on both
sides of the following described centerline, and a 25.0
feet temporary construction easement lying coincident to,
perpendicular to, and 12.5 feet on both sides of the
following described centerline; thence, North 43° 36' W.,
a distance of 46.2 feet, more to less, to the southerly
right-of-way line of Lexington Avenue and there
terminating.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
