AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
LATERAL SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12 -PP -7 & 14-L-7, A
SUBDIVISION OF TRUNK SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12 -PP
AND 14-L
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That the boundaries of Lateral Sewer District No.
12 -PP -7 & 14-L-7, a subdivision of Trunk Sewer District No. 12 -PP
& 14-L in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, shall be as
follows:
That part of Outlot 82 of U.S. Private Survey No. 2199,
in Township 31 North, Range 15 East of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, State of Missouri, more particularly described
as follows:
Begin at the Northeast Corner of Lot 1 of Crite's Third
Addition Amended; thence North 19 34' 32" East, along the
West line of Pindwood Lane, 119.90 feet; thence North 519
10' 10" West, 695.58 feet; thence South 269 36' 45" West,
598.41 feet; thence North 894 45' 37" East, 713.14 feet;
thence South 19 40' 37" West, 25.00 feet; thence North
899 45' 37" East, 95.00 feet to the point of beginning,
and containing 5.61 acres, more or less.
ARTICLE 2. That the plans for the construction of a system of
sanitary lateral sewers to serve Lateral Sewer District No. 12 -PP -7
& 14-L-7, a copy of which are on file in the office of the City
Clerk, have been approved and filed.
ARTICLE 3. That the owners of lands in said Lateral Sewer
District No. 12 -PP -7 & 14-L-7, were granted permission to construct
said system of sanitary lateral sewers in Lateral Sewer District
No. 12 -PP -7 & 14-L-7 and to connect same to existing sewers in
Trunk Sewer District No. 12 -PP & 14-L, subject to the following
provisions.
1. That proper authority was secured to proceed from the
Missouri Clean Water Commission.
2. That all permanent easements for said sewers on private
property were made to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, prior to execution of a contract for the work
of construction of said sewers.
3. That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of the
City and State laws applicable to this project were
observed in all respects.
4. That the quality of the work and materials was inspected
by the agents of the City engineer of the said City, and
that cost of said inspections was paid to said City
following the completion of the work.
ARTICLE 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval.
