DEED FROM WESLEYJ. AND NELDA L. STEFFEN FOR THE
CAPE LA CROIX CREEK/WALKER BRANCH FLOOD

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY •; CAPE GIRA-

OURIAS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts a General
Warranty Deed executed by Wesley J. and Nelda L. Steffen, conveying to the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a General Warranty Deed for the Cape La Croix
Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control Project, more particularly described as follows, to -
wit:
Part of Lot 12 in Block 3 of Drury's Second Subdivision in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri as Recorded in Plat Book 6 on Page 29 being part of a Tract of Land as recorded
in Book 226 on Page 189 in the office of the Recorder in Jackson, Missouri.
Beginning at the Northwest Corner of said Lot 12 in Block 3 of Drury's Second Subdivision;
thence South 83 degrees, 1 minute, 4 seconds East, along the North Line of said Lot 12,
24.93 feet to an Iron Pin, having M.S.P.C. of N: 544888.44.' E: 1097830.19'; thence
leaving said North Line of Lot 12, South 12 degrees, 43 minutes, 49 seconds West, 36.37
feet to an Iron Pin, having M.S.P.C, of N: 544852.96' E: 1097822.17'; thence South 13
degrees, 34 minutes, 8 seconds West, 44,35 feet to an Iron Pin, having M.S.P.C. of N:
544809.85' E: 1097811.77'; thence North 83 degrees, 1 minute, 4 seconds West, 47.63
feet to the point of beginning. Containing 2,923 square feet.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its
passage and approval.
