AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PERMANENT WATER WELLS EASEMENT
FROM RICHARD R. GRIFFITH AND THEODORE H. HOLZUM FOR THE
DRILLING OF WATER WELLS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri hereby accepts a Permanent Water Well
Easement executed by Richard R. Griffith and Theodore H. Holzum, conveying an easement to the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the drilling of water wells, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Utility easements situated in the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19 of
Township 30 North, Range 14 East in the County of Cape Girardeau and the State of Missouri,
described as follows:
A 50 foot wide utility easement lying adjacent to and on the south side of the following described
line: From the Northeast Corner of said Quarter Section running approximately 62 feet west along
the north quarter section line to the intersection of said quarter section line with the west right-of-
way line of the Southeast Missouri Regional Port Authority Railroad to the Point of Beginning,
thence west along said quarter section line a distance of 640 feet to the end point.

A 100 foot wide utility easement lying 25 feet on the west side and 75 feet on the east side of the
following described centerline: From the Northeast Corner of said Quarter Section running
approximately 62 feet west along the north quarter section line to the intersection of said quarter
section line with the west right-of-way line of the Southeast Missouri Regional Port Authority
Railroad, thence west along said quarter section line a distance of 610 feet to the Point of Beginning,
thence South 21° West along an existing field road with RLS 2108 monuments defining its centerline
to the south quarter section line.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
