ORDINANCE NO. (L
AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE EAST LANE OF MAIN
STREET BOULEVARD, BETWEEN INDEPENDENCE
STREET AND WILLIAM STREET, FROM MAIN STREET
TO AQUAMSI STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That the east lane of Main Street Boulevard,
between Independence Street and William Street, is hereby
renamed from Main Street to Aquamsi Street.
ARTICLE 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct
and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
