AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FROM BILLY JOE NEWELL
FOR THE WILLIAM STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Temporary Construction Easement, executed by Billy Joe
Newell, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a
Temporary Construction Easement for the William Street Improvement
Project, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
THAT PART OF LOT NO. 44, IN RANGE A, IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
Begin at the Intersection of the North right of way line of
William Street and the East right of way line of Sprigg
Street; thence along said North right of way line, South
83045127" East, 15.00 feet; thence leaving said North right of
way line, North 38047106" West, 21.22 feet to a point on the
said East right of way line of Sprigg Street; thence along
said East right of way line, South 06011115" West, 15.00 feet,
to the point of beginning and containing 112 square feet, more
or less.
ALSO:
THAT PART OF LOT NO. 44, IN RANGE A, IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
Commence at the intersection of the North right of way line of
William Street and the East right of way line of Sprigg
Street; thence along said north right of way line, South
83045'27" East, 50.03 feet to the point of beginning; thence
leaving said North right of way line, North 6014'33" East,
10.00 feet; thence South 83045'27" East, 50.00 feet; thence
South 6014133" West, 10.00 feet to a point on said North right
of way line of William Street; thence North 83045'27" West,
50.00 feet to the point of beginning and containing 500 square
feet, more or less.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.

RE: Ordinance Accepting Temporary Construction Easements from Billy
Joe Newell for the William Street Improvement Project
This Ordinance accepts Temporary Construction Easements from Billy Joe Newell,
144 S. Sprigg, which are needed for the William Street Improvement Project. This Project,
which is a Transportation Trust Fund I project, includes the widening of William Street
between Main Street and Sprigg Street with new curbs and sidewalks.
The attached Ordinance, accepting the Easements for the City of Cape Girardeau, is
on your Agenda for your consideration for first reading.
