AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED
FROM WILLIAM J. O'KELLY AND BETTY G. O'KELLY FOR THE
PROPERTY AT 717 INDEPENDENCE STREET FOR THE
EXPANSION OF THE FIRE STATION NO. 1 SITE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri hereby accepts a General
Warranty Deed executed by William J. and Betty G. O'Kelly conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri property at 717 Independence for the expansion of the Fire Station No.
site, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
All that part of Lot No. Thirty-three (33) in Range "B" in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, bounded as follows:
Beginning on the Northwest corner of said Lot Thirty-three (33), Range "B"; thence
East along the South line of Independence Street, 60 feet; thence South parallel with
Sprigg Street, 112 feet to the Southern boundary line of said Lot 33; thence West with
said line, 60 feet to an alley; thence North along the East line of said alley, 112 feet to
the place of beginning.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage
and approval.
