AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PERMANENT EASEMENT
FROM JAMES W. KESTER AND LINDA S. KESTER FOR
THE TWIN LAKES WATER MAIN PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts a
Permanent Easement executed by James W. Kester and Linda S. Kester on property
located at 4161 Hopper Road, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 27, Township 31 North, Range 13 East, in the County of Cape
Girardeau, State of Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land in part, 20 feet in width lying equally divided along both
sides of a line commencing at the Interstate 55 Centerline Station
1 1 17 + 30, 285 feet offset right, said point being on the Interstate 55
right-of-way; thence along said right-of-way line, North 66-10'01"
West, 44.20 feet to the true point of beginning; thence leaving said
right-of-way line, North 761 7'42" West, 243.00 feet, more or less to
a point on the South right-of-way line of Hopper Road, the terminus.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its
passage and approval.
