AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN
A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING LAND TO
JIM AND KAREN HENDRICKSON AS PART OF THE
HOPPER ROAD PHASE I PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri hereby authorizes the Mayor to sign
a General Warranty Deed conveying 4,861.62 square feet of land to Jim and Karen
Hendrickson as part of the Hopper Road Phase I Project, more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
A PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 31
NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CITY
AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at a northwesterly corner of lot no. 87 of Clarkton Place Subdivision
Phase 5 as recorded in the land records of the County Recorder's Office in plat book
no. 18 at page 81, Thence along the west line of said lot the following courses and
distances; S 80°22'15" E, 14.80 feet; Thence N 17°37'35" E, 139.23 feet to the
beginning of a non -tangent curve concave to the southwest having a central angle of
03°45'35" and a radius of 870.00 feet, from which point a radial line bears S
06°00'45" W; Thence leaving said west line and along said curve in an easterly
direction 57.09 feet; Thence S 00004'34" E, 134.33 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 0.11 acres more or less. (4861.62 square feet)
Article 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage
and approval.
