AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
FROM PERRY E. COOK AND BESSIE R. COOK, FOR
THE IMPROVEMENT OF MISSOURI STREET FROM
MISSISSIPPI STREET TO SCOTT STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Drainage Easement, executed by Perry E. Cook and Bessie
R. Cook, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, a Drainage Easement for the improvement of
Missouri Street from Mississippi Street to Scott Street, more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Part of Block Eleven (11) of the Montecello Addition in
Outlot 73 in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of Block 11, which
point is also the Southwest corner of Lot 10, thence
South 820 East a distance of 60 feet to the Southeast
comer of Lot 10; thence continue South 820 East a
distance of 30 feet to an iron bar, said iron bar being
the property corner and the Point of Beginning; thence
North 9° East a distance of 78.83 feet to a point;
thence North 25015108" West a distance of 109.13 feet
to a point: thence North 82° West a distance of 28.58
feet to a point on the East Right of Way line of
Missouri Avenue: thence South 9° West a distance of 15
feet along said Right of Way to a point; thence South
82° East a distance of 20.64 feet to a point; thence
South 25015108" East a distance of 114.34 feet to a
point; thence South 90 West a distance of 59.53 feet to
a point on the South property line and also the North
Right of Way Line of Mississippi Street; thence South
820 East a distance of 5 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 2401 square feet more or less.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
