A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A RELEASE OF LIEN ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 922 BLOOMFIELD
STREET FOR THE GOOD HOPE/JEFFERSON
NEIGHBORHOOD RESTORATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau previously entered into
an Agreement dated April 30, 2007, with Henry E. Sanchez and
Lisa O. Sanchez, for the grant of funds to make repairs to the
residence at 922 Bloomfield Street, - the Southeast Part Lot Ten
(10) Pt. Eleven (11), West 14' Lot Twelve (12), Block Thirty-two
(32) of West End Place Addition, in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, all pursuant to the Good Hope/Jefferson Neighborhood
Restoration Project, and
WHEREAS, that grant agreement was recorded in the land
records of Cape Girardeau County as Document No. 2007-07141 and
the time period has now expired; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to release the lien created by the agreement dated
April 30, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a
Release of Lien and to cause said Release to be recorded in the
land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, so that the
above described property may be free of any lien or claim by the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, by reason of the Agreement
dated April 30, 2007, and recorded as Document No. 2007-07141 of
the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
