A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE INTENT OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, TO
REIMBURSE ITSELF FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL
EXPENDITURES RELATED TO THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri (the
"City") has incurred capital expenditures in connection with
acquiring, constructing, furnishing and equipping a new
wastewater treatment plant (the "Project") and may incur
additional capital expenditures in connection with the Project
on and after the date hereof. The City intends to reimburse
itself for such expenditures with the proceeds of bonds or other
obligations to be issued by the City (the "Obligations"). The
maximum net proceeds of Obligations expected to be issued for
the Project will be $70,000,000.00.
Article 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
