A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE CONVERSION OF SCHULTZ
SCHOOL TO SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Cape Public School District no longer has a need for the Schultz
School building for public school purposes, and;
WHEREAS, RCH Development, Inc. has proposed to convert the Schultz School
Building into forty-five apartments to house senior citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
that the City supports the efforts to convert the Schultz School building into senior citizen
housing.
