A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE
MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
SAFE, ACCOUNTABLE, FLEXIBLE, EFFICIENT
TRANSPORTATION EQUITY ACT: A LEGACY FOR
USERS (SAFETEA-LU) FUNDS FOR THE FOUNTAIN
STREET PHASE II ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY GRANT DOCUMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a
grant application to the Missouri Department of Transportation
for Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity
Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) Funds for the Fountain
Street Phase II Enhancement Project, and is hereby authorized to
execute all necessary grant documents if a grant is awarded.
