A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A RELEASE OF LIEN FOR THE FEDERAL HOME
LOAN BANK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau previously entered into an Agreement
dated May 23, 2000, with Grace Hoffer for the grant of funds to make repairs to her
residence at 526 South Middle Street, Lot 7, Block 3, Jefferson Heights Addition in
the City of Cape Girardeau, ,Missouri, all pursuant to the Federal Home Loan Bank
Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, that grant agreement was recorded in the land records of Cape
Girardeau County at Book 1061 at Page 566 and the amount has now been paid
in full, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to release
the lien created by the agreement dated May 23, 2000.
NOW, THRERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a Release of Lien and
to cause said Release to be recorded in the land records of Cape Girardeau
County, Missouri, so that the above described property may be free of any lien or
claim by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, by reason of the Agreement date
May 23, 2000, and recorded in Book 1061 at Page 566 of the land records of Cape
Girardeau County, Missouri.
