A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDED FIVE-YEAR
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
TRANSPORTATION TRUST FUND I, FOR THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, does hereby approve and adopt the "Amended Cape
Girardeau Transportation Trust Fund I Program" as set out on
Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
as though fully set out herein, for the purposes of determining
the transportation improvements and the order of priority for
such improvements to be funded by the Transportation Sales Tax
and the City Transportation Trust Fund approved by the voters on
August 8, 1995. This "Amended Cape Girardeau Transportation
Trust Fund I Program" list replaces the prior list adopted by
the City Council on July 24, 1995, in Resolution Number 1072.

5. Perryville Road: Near Meyer Drive to City Limits (Hanover Church)
6. Hopper Road: Phase I. New alignment from Mt. Auburn west to Kage Road
7. Silver Springs Road: William Street (Route K) North to "Independence"
8. Bloomfield Road: Phase I. Christine Street east to Spring Street
9. Broadway: Widening and reconstruction from Clark Street east to Perry Avenue
10. Mt. Auburn Road:
a. Mt. Auburn Road: Widening to full four lanes, William to Independence
b. Mt. Auburn Road: Traffic signals at Independence intersection
11. New Route 74 Connections:
a. Fountain Street Corridor: Morgan Oak to New Highway 74
b. Mt. Auburn Road: Bloomfield Road south to New Highway 74
C. Siemers Drive: Bloomfield Road to New Highway 74
d. Silver Springs Road: Bloomfield South to New Highway 74
12. Bloomfield road: Phase II. Kingshighway west to 1-55
13. Hopper Road: Phase II. Kage Road to 1-55
14. William Street: General improvement and/or widening Sprigg Street to Main
15. Mt. Auburn Extensions:
a. New Highway 74 South to Silver Springs Road
b. Silver Springs Road East to Kingshighway
16. Independence Street: Reconstruction Pacific to Sprigg, including intersections
17. New Madrid Street: Reconstruction from Perry Avenue east to Show -Me Center (including
realignment of Henderson intersection)
18. Rodney Street: New Cape LaCroix Creek bridge and reconstruction from National Guard Armory
north to Hawthorne
