RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH SITEFINDERS, INC., TO ACQUIRE RIGHT-OF-WAY
FOR THE NEW MADRID STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FROM
HENDERSON AVENUE TO PERRY AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with SiteFinders, Inc., to
acquire right-of-way for the New Madrid Street Improvement Project from Henderson
Avenue to Perry Avenue as part of the Transportation Trust Fund Program. A copy of
an agreement from SiteFinders, Inc. is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Dear Bill:
The following proposal is provided as an estimate for the acquisition of Easements
and /or Right Of Way for the improvement of New Madrid Street in the City of
Cape Girardeau.
My services will include, but not limited to, preparing permanent files of each parcel
along with negotiators reports of the actions on each parcel.
After studying the plans and plats that were furnished to me, I can foresee quite of
lot of explaining as what will be disturbed. The price quoted below will include the
acquisition of the agreement and the easement for each parcel
Due to the time frame, there will be a need to contact many of the owners after
work and on the weekends.
As we discussed last week, if for some reason this project cannot be handled as
proposed, I will be most happy to discuss an alternative.
My proposal is for $650,00 per parcel. If you feel a need to discuss this, please feel
free to call me.
