RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LICENSE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT WITH RHODES PROPERTIES,
L.C., FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN EXTENSION TO AN EXISTING
PAVED ACCESS WAY FOR USE AS A DRIVEWAY TO A SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENCE AND TO PROVIDE MOTOR VEHICLE PARKING FOR
PUBLIC USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY PARK SYSTEM
PROPERTY ON A PORTION OF THE CAPE LA CROIX CREEK/WALKER
BRANCH FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT RIGHT-OF-WAY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a License and Indemnity Agreement with
Rhodes Properties, L.C., for construction of an extension to an existing paved access
way for use as a driveway to a single family residence and to provide motor vehicle
parking for public use in conjunction with the city park system property on a portion
of the Cape La Croix Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control Project right-of-way. A copy
of said License and Indemnity Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
