RESOLUTION NO. IS S
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A RELEASE OF LIEN FOR THE COMMUNITY
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau previously entered into a
Trust Deed dated January 12, 1993, with Walter A. Wilson and
Mildred M. Wilson, for the grant of funds to make repairs to his
residence at 229 South Middle Street, part of Lot Forty -Three (43)
in Range G, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, all pursuant
to the Community Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, that Trust Deed was recorded in the land records of
Cape Girardeau County at Book 628 at Page 558, and all amounts due
under the Agreement have now been paid; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to release the lien created by the Trust Deed dated
January 12, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a
Release of Lien and to cause said Release to be recorded in the
land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, so that the above
described property may be free of any lien or claim by the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, by reason of the Trust Deed dated January
12, 1993, and recorded in Book 628 at Page 558 of the land records
of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
