A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH DISPLAY SALES TO
CREATE BANNERS FOR DOWNTOWN CAPE GIRARDEAU
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE l . The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a
Contract with Display Sales to create banners for downtown Cape
Girardeau. A copy of said Contract is attached to this
Resolution and made a part hereof .

CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU —DISPLAY SALES
RE: RFP No. 1001734 custom banners
THIS CONTRACT is befinreen City of Cape Girardeau, hereinafter referred to as the"City", and
Display Sales hereinafter referred to as"ConsultanY'.
Through funds made available through the Preserve America, Historic Preservation Fund Grants
to Preserve and Promote America's Heritage and Cultural Assets. The City intends to design and
install banners in downtown Cape Girardeau. This Contract is for the Consultant to provide
service for creation of banners as hereinafter detailed. It is mutually agreed as follows:
The Consultant contracts to supply the following products according to the specifications set forth
in the City Request for Proposal No. 1001734, awarded Sept. 18, 2009.
45 16"x 45" custom design banners $49 ea $2,205
37 30"x 60"custom design banners$79 ea $2,923
17 30"x 60"custom design banners$79 ea $1,343
99 total banners shipping UPS ground $149
Total cost $6,620
The total cost of$6,620 includes all costs associated with delivery of 99 banners to the City of
Cape Girardeau.
The City will supply press ready digital art in the tiff(tagged image file format) format. The
Consultant will provide a sample of each design to the City for final design and color approval.
The City will designate a person to whom the samples may be sent who has the authority to
approve the samples for production. The order will ship twenty working days after Display Sales
receives approval of the samples.
The City will provide the Consultant a non-cancelable purchase order to proceed with this
project. The Consultant will invoice the City in full upon shipping all banners. The invoice is due
in full 30 days after the date of issue.
