AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR PAYMENT
OF ADDITIONAL EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION FOR
SERVICES TO BE RENDERED BETWEEN NOW AND THE
END OF THE THIRD QUARTER OF THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2022, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates from the following funds :
General Fund - Five Hundred Ten Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
($510, 300 . 00)
Airport Fund - Twenty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($26, 500 . 00)
Parks and Recreation Fund - Thirty-Two Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($32, 400 . 00)
Health Fund - Six Thousand Seventy-Five Dollars ($6, 075 . 00)
Sewer Fund - Sixty-Four Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars
($64, 800 . 00)
Water Fund - Four Thousand Fifty Dollars ($4, 050 . 00)
Solid Waste Fund - Thirty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($36, 450 . 00)
Golf Course Fund - Six Thousand Seventy-Five Dollars
($6, 075 . 00)
Indoor Complex Fund - Ten Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Five
Dollars ($10, 125 . 00)
Outdoor Complex Fund - Six Thousand Seventy-Five Dollars
($6, 075 . 00)
Information Technology Fund - Eight Thousand One Hundred
Dollars ($8, 100 . 00)
Fleet Fund - Twenty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars
($28, 350 .00)
For additional employee compensation for services to be rendered
between now and the end of the third quarter of the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2022 .
ARTICLE 2 . Pursuant to Section 3. 15 (c) of the Charter of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, this measure is adopted as an
emergency measure as an appropriation for the payment of current
expenses of city government, including emergency appropriations as
provided in section 6 .08 . Specifically, the timely payment of this
compensation requires that the City Council appropriate these funds
immediately. Accordingly, this ordinance will take effect
immediately upon its passage and approval .
