AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RECORD PLAT OF
J.E. BURTON SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The record plat of J.E. Burton Subdivision,
being all of Lots 1 and 20 in Block 5 of Red Star Addition as
recorded in Plat Book No. 2 at Page No. 45 in the land records
of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, and a part of Roberts Street
vacated by Ordinance No. 1564, all in the City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, submitted by James Eric
Burton and Whitney Burton, husband and wife, bearing the
certification of R. Christopher Bowen, a Registered Land
Surveyor, dated the 13th day of August, 2021, including all
variances and exceptions, is hereby approved.
ARTICLE 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to sign the
record plat with the date of Council approval and affix thereto
the seal of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
ARTICLE 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
