ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE EXPENDITURE OF
AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN FUNDS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2022, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates the expenditure of American Rescue
Plan funds for Public Safety Professional Services, for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2022, in the following amounts:
($11,830.00) - Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars for
professional counseling and training services for the Cape
Girardeau Fire Department.
($6,700.00) - Six Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars for
professional counseling services for the Cape Girardeau Police
Department.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
