AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS RELATED TO
THE 2020 MAGNET CONTRACT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2021, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to MAGNET
marketing fund for :
City Manager Contingency - Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50, 000 . 00)
to satisfy 2020 Contract for additional funds for purpose of
business development in the City of Cape Girardeau .
ARTICLE 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .

Dear Mr. Meyer,
As per the 2020 contract between Cape Girardeau Area MAGNET and the City of Cape Girardeau,
under section 8, Cape Girardeau Area MAGNET would like to request$50,000 in additional funds for
the purpose of bringing business with the city limits of Cape Girardeau.
We would like to thank the City of Cape Girardeau for their ongoing support of Cape Girardeau Area
MAGNET in our efforts to bring businesses to our region.
