A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY AND THE
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, FOR THE
2019 STAFFING FOR ADEQUATE FIRE AND
EMERGENCY RESPONSE GRANT, AND TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY GRANT DOCUMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Manager, for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a
grant application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) , for the
2019 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER)
grant, and is hereby authorized to execute all necessary grant
documents . Summaries of said Applications are attached to this
Resolution and made a part hereof.m
