AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS RELATED TO FIVE GRANTS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 301 2018, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to a Federal
Aviation Administration Grant for: -
Development Service (Airport Fund) - Seven Hundred Fifty-Nine
Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($759, 786.00) to cover
overlay and rehabilitation costs for Runway 2/20 at the Cape
Girardeau Regional Airport . - -
- ARTICLE 2 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to a Traction
Grant, U. S. Department of Justice JAG Grant, and U.S. Department of
Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant for:
Public Safety (General Fund) - Ninety Thousand and Four
Hundred Eighty-four Dollars ($90, 484 . 00) to cover $70; 285.00 in
Team Spirit Program costs and_ $20, 199. 00 in Special Response Team
equipment costs.
Public Safety (Casino Revenue Fund) - Twenty-seven Thousand
Dollars ($27, 000. 00) to cover costs related to implementation of
the City' s body-worn cameras program from the current year' s
Innovation Allocation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018 .
ARTICLE 3 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to an Emergency
Solutions Grant for:
Development Service (General Fund) - Eight-seven Thousand
Dollars ($87, 000.00) to cover pass through payments made to various
City Agencies to assist with their programs related to emergency
housing.
ARTICLE 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
