Robin Keesee and Jill Collins are hereby granted a Special Use
Permit for purposes of operating a bed and breakfast located at 135
South West End Boulevard, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, on the following described property for an indefinite
period of time :
Lot Six (6) in Block Eleven (11) of West End Place Second
Edition in the city and county of Cape Girardeau, Missouri as
shown in Plat filed in Plat Book 2 at Page 13
This Special Use Permit is granted upon the condition that the
Applicant be bound by all City Ordinances which pertain to the
Special Use Permit and that the Applicant be bound by the following
conditions which are imposed as a condition of issuance of this
Special Use Permit. Upon the failure of the Applicant to comply
with these special conditions, the Special Use Permit will
automatically terminate and the City of Cape Girardeau shall have
the right to enter upon the land to abate such special use.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
1 . This special use shall meet all applicable requirements
of the Zoning and Development Codes .
2 . Major modifications to this special use, including the
building and site, shall require the approval of the City
Council.
3 . This permit shall automatically expire twelve (12) months
from the date of issuance if the use for which it was
granted has not commenced.
4 . This permit is not transferable without the consent of
the City Council.
5. Signage for this special use shall be limited to two (2)
signs, one of which may be a freestanding sign. The
maximum sign area shall be six (6) square feet for a wall
or porch sign and twelve (12) square feet for a
freestanding sign. The maximum height for a freestanding
sign shall be six (6) feet. In addition, directional
signs shall be permitted in accordance with the City' s
sign regulations. Signage shall be decorative in nature
and subject to approval by the City staff.

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS
Now on this PO -day of -Mant6e ' , 20/1 , the Cape Girardeau City Council
considered the application for a Special Use Permit dated October 18, 2017
filed by Robin Keesee and Jill Collins for the property located at 135 South
West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the purpose of operating a bed
and breakfast.
In examining this application, the following factors were considered and found as
noted:
