AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE P OF SECTION 26-248
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, BY ESTABLISHING LIMITED
PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF NORTH PARK AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That portion of Schedule P of Section 26-248 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
which established the following limited parking:
Park Avenue, west side, beginning at the intersection
of Park Avenue and Normal Avenue for a distance of 301
feet south, and beginning at the intersection of Park
Avenue and Broadway, for a distance of 521 feet north,
from 9: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. , Monday through Friday,
excluding holidays.
is hereby repealed.
ARTICLE 2 . Schedule P of Section 26-248 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby
amended by establishing limited parking at the following
locations:
Park Avenue, west side, from Normal Avenue to
Broadway, from 9: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays.
ARTICLE 3. It is the intention of the governing body and it
is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance shall
become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this Code may
be renumbered to accomplish such intention.
ARTICLE 4 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten days after its final passage and approval .
