AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE T OF
SECTION 26-260 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
BY ESTABLISHING HANDICAPPED PARKING
ALONG A PORTION OF MAIN STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. Schedule T of Section 26-260 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby
amended by establishing handicapped parking along a portion of
Main Street between 9th Street and 5th Street, in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, at the following locations:
Main Street, west side, beginning at a point 160 feet '
north of the intersection of Main Street and Fourth
Street, and continuing northward for a distance of
43.5 feet (two handicapped parking stalls) along the
west curb line of Main Street and then terminating.
Main Street, west side, beginning at a point 35 feet
north of the intersection of Main Street and
Independence Street, and continuing northward for a
distance of 19. 5 feet along the west curb line of Main
Street and then terminating.
Main Street, west side, beginning at a point 38 feet
north of the intersection of Main Street and Themis
Street, and continuing northward for a distance of 22
feet along the west curb line of Main Street and then
terminating.
Main Street, west side, beginning at a point 129 feet
north of the intersection of Merriwether Street and
Main Street, and continuing northward for a distance
of 22 feet along the west curb line of Main Street and
then terminating.
Main Street, west side, beginning at a point 135 feet
north of the intersection of Merriwether Street and
Main Street, and continuing northward for a distance
of 22 feet alona the west curb line of Main Street and
then terminating.

ARTICLE 2 . It is the intention of the governing body and it
is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance shall
become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this Code may
be renumbered to accomplish such intention.
ARTICLE 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten days after its final passage and approval.
