AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED, A
QUIT CLAIM DEED AND ASSIGNMENT OF EASEMENTS
AND AN ASSIGNMENT FROM THE NORTH MAIN STREET
LEVEE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE TRANSFER
OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER FLOOD PROTECTION
SYSTEM, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Deed, a Quit Claim Deed and Assignment of
Easements and an Assignment from the North Main Street Levee
Improvement District for the transfer of the Mississippi River
Flood Protection System, in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the
following described real property, to-wit :
ALL OF LOT 93 AND THAT PART OF LOT 98 IN RANGE "P" OF
INGRAM ' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, AT PAGE 6 OF THE LAND RECORDS
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY AND PART OF LOT 110, ALL OF
LOT 111 AND PART OF LOT 112 ALL IN RANGE "Q" OF SAID

Improvement District, that may be required to
construct, repair, operate, and maintain all the works
and improvements providing flood protection to the
area included within the boundary lines of Grantee .
