AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF
WARDS 4 AND 6 TO INCLUDE PROPERTIES ANNEXED
BY THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . Ordinance No. 1355, Part 2, is hereby amended
by repealing the legal description of the boundaries of "Ward 4"
in its entirety and enacting a new legal description of the
boundaries of "Ward 4" , in words and figures, to read as
follows :
Ward 4
(1) Beginning at a point where the centerline of
Perry Avenue intersects the centerline of
Perryville Road; thence in a northerly direction
with said centerline of Perry Avenue to its
intersection with the centerline of Wayne Street;
thence in an easterly direction with the
centerline of Wayne Street to its intersection
with the centerline of West End Boulevard; thence
in a northerly direction with the centerline of
West End Boulevard to its intersection with the
centerline of Bertling Street; thence in an
easterly direction with the centerline of
Bertling Street to its intersection with the
centerline of Old Sprigg Street Road; thence in a
northerly direction with the centerline of Old
Sprigg Street Road to its intersection with the
northern city limits of the City of Cape
Girardeau effective September 4 , 2001; thence
North along the west right-of-way line of Old
Sprigg Street Road to the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 19, Township 31 North, Range 14 East;
thence west to the east right-of-way line of Cape
