AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR
OPERATING EXPENDITURES AND CAPITAL
EXPENDITURES FROM THE CONVENTION AND TOURISM
FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2010,
IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates One Hundred Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($145, 000 . 00) from the unappropriated balance of the
Convention and Tourism fund for expenditure during the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2010, for the following operating and capital
expenditures :
A. Matching Grant for The Discovery Playhouse - Southeast
Missouri Children' s Museum.
B. Billboard Displays .
C. New Community Video DVD.
D. New Community Visitors Guide .
E. Grants to Downtown Attractions .
F. Tour of Missouri .
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
