AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT ON THE
CLIPPARD SCHOOL PROPERTY FROM DR. JAMES WELKER,
SUPERINTENDENT OF CAPE GIRARDEAU SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 63
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri hereby accepts a sanitary sewer easement
granted by Dr.James Welker, Superintendent of Cape Girardeau School District No. 63, conveying an
easement to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the realignment of.a sanitary sewer line, more
particularly described as follows,to-wit:
LOCATED IN LOT 2 OF JOHN B. JORROW'S SUBDIVISION OF THE EAST PART OF
OUTLOT 78A OF UNITED STATES PRIVATE SURVEY 2199, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH,
RANGE 13 EAST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
A strip of land being 20 feet wide, lying 10 feet on each side of the following described easement
centerline, commencing at a point on the south line of a tract of land as recorded in Book No. 209
at Page No. 343 of the land records of the County Recorder's Office from which point the
southeast corner of said tract of land bears, S 82° 09' 00"E, 339.16 feet, said point being on the
north right of way line of Hopper Road and being on the centerline of a sanitary sewer easement
in favor of the City of Cape Girardeau. Thence along said centerline,N 02° 06' 11" E, 167.21
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said center line,N 49° 01' 05" W, 132.27
feet; thence N 06° 14' 36"E, 224.30 feet; thence N 35° 51' 10" E, 156.46 feet to the centerline of
the afore said sanitary sewer easement and there terminating. The sidelines of said easement
being prolonged or shortened to terminate at the westerly sideline of the afore said sanitary sewer
easement in favor of the City of Cape Girardeau.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance will be in full force and effect ten days after its passage and
approval.
