AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED FOR A TRACT
OF LAND LOCATED ALONG OPTIMIST DRIVE IN THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU TO ATLAS PLASTICS
CORPORATION D/B/A SPARTECH PLASTICS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . The Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a
General Warranty Deed for a tract of land located along Optimist
Drive in the City of Cape Girardeau, to Atlas Plastics
Corporation d/b/a Spartech Plastics, being real property located
in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri more particularly
described as follows :
A PARCEL OF LAND BEING PART OF LOT NUMBER ONE (1) OF
ROBERT STURDIVANT' S SUBDIVISION OF OUT LOT 81 IN
SURVEY NUMBER 2199, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST
OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN LOCATED IN THE CITY
AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU MISSOURI BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS :
BEGINNING at a W" Iron Rod at the Northwest Corner of
Lot Numbered Four (4) of Nothdurft' s Partition in said
City of Cape Girardeau, as shown by Plat Book #4 , at
Page #46 of the Land Records of said Cape Girardeau
County Missouri; thence S . 6102012611W. , a distance of
62 . 20 feet to a Point; thence S . 07°50' 00"W. , a
distance of 478 . 00 feet to a %" Iron Rod; thence
5 . 47010100"E. , a distance of 61 . 04 feet to a %" Iron
Rod on the West Line of said Nothdurft' s Partition;
thence N. 07050 ' 00"E. , along said West line, a distance
of 550 . 00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 0 . 590 acre, more or less in the City and
County of Cape Girardeau Missouri . As per survey by
Scott A. Richards, Professional Land Surveyor #2359,
dated July of 2010 . Subject to existing Easements if
any.
The City of Cape Girardeau hereby reserves a twenty-
five (25) foot wide Stormwater and Utility Easement
located along the west side of the above-described
property.
ARTICLE 2 . This ordinance will be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
