AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE P OF
SECTION 26-248 OF THE CITY CODE, BY
ESTABLISHING LIMITED PARKING ALONG A
PORTION OF PARK AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . That portion of Schedule P of Section 26-248 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
adopted by Ordinance Number MAN-92, on September 21, 1966, which
established the following limited parking:
Park Avenue - west side from Normal to Broadway,
between 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday
ARTICLE 2 . That bortion of Schedule P of Section 26-248 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
adopted by Ordinance dumber 4264 , on August 15, 2011, which
established the following limited narking :
Park Avenue, both sides, from Normal Avenue to
Broadway, from 9 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays .
ARTICLE 3 . Schedule P of Section 26-248 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby
amended by establishing limited parking along a portion of Park
Avenue in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the following
locations :
1 . ) Park Avenue, east side, from Normal Avenue to
Broadway, from 9 : 00 ANI to 3 : 00 PM, Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays .
2 . ) Park Avenue, west side, beginning at the
intersection of Park Avenue and Normal Avenue for
a distance of 301 feet south, and beginning at the
intersection of Park Avenue and Broadway, for a
distance of 521 feet north, from 9 : 00 AM to 3 : 00
PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays .
ARTICLE 9 . It is the intention of the governing body
and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this
Ir
ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the
sections of this Code may be renumbered to accomplish such
intention.
ARTICLE S . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten days after its final passage and approval .
