AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR OPERATING
EXPENDITURES, CAPITAL EXPENDITURES, AND
TRANSFERS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,
2012, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, .hereby appropriates from the unappropriated balance of
the identified funds for expenditure during the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2012, for the operating expenditures of the departments
specified, in the following amounts :
Public Safety (General Fund) - Fifty-Three Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($53, 500 . 00) for costs related to grant
funded police overtime, 4 Tasers, installation of
communication equipment, rewiring of Gordonville
communication tower, and other municipal court, police,
and fire operating expenses
Administrative (Airport Fund) - Fifteen Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($15, 700 . 00) to cover costs of temporary
part-time employee and various other maintenance costs .
Internal Service (IT Fund) - Ten Thousand Dollars
($10, 000 . 00) to cover 5 months cost of expanded
bandwidth.
ARTICLE 2 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates from the unappropriated balance of
the identified funds for expenditure during the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2011, for additional capital expenditures of the
departments specified, in the following amounts :
Administrative (General Fund) - Six Thousand Dollars
($6, 000 . 00) to replace scanner for personnel records
storage system.
Public Safety (General Fund) - Nineteen Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($19, 200 . 00) to replace soft sided rescue
boat .
Public Safety (Public Safety Trust Fund) - Thirty-Seven
Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars ($37, 639. 00) for
partial cost of implementing mobile CAD system.
Parks and Recreation (Golf Fund) - Ten Thousand Dollars
($10, 000 . 00) to install above ground fuel tanks at the
golf course.
Parks and Recreation (Softball Complex Fund) - Thirty-
Four Thousand One Hundred Twenty Five Dollars
($34 , 125 . 00) to replace concession stand roof.
Internal Service (IT Fund) - Nine Thousand Dollars
($9, 000 . 00) to cover costs of 6 computers for EOC /
Training room.
Internal Service (Equipment Replacement Fund) - Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50, 000. 00) to cover costs of upgrading
and providing backup of the City' s telephone system.
ARTICLE 3 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates from the unappropriated balance of
the identified funds for expenditure during the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2013, for additional transfer between funds, in the
following amounts :
General Fund to Public Safety Trust Fund - Thirty-Seven
Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars ($37, 639. 00) to
cover partial cost of implementing mobile CAD system.
General Fund to IT Fund - Nineteen Thousand Dollars
($19, 000 . 00) to cover costs of 6 computers for EOC /
Training room and 5 months of expanded bandwidth.
Parks / Stormwater Sales Tax - Operating Fund to Golf
Fund - Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000 . 00) to cover costs
to install above ground fuel tanks at the golf course .
Parks / Stormwater Sales Tax - Operating Fund to Softball
Complex Fund - Thirty-Four Thousand One Hundred Twenty-
Five Dollars ($34 , 125 . 00) to cover costs of replacing
concession stand roof.

ARTICLE 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and
