AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE A OF
SECTION 26-228 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
BY ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT ALONG
AND IN THE INDEPENDENCE STREET,
GORDONVILLE ROAD, AND EAST RODNEY DRIVE
ROUNDABOUT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . Schedule A of Section 26-228 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby
amended by establishing the speed limit along and in the
Independence Street, Gordonville Road, and East Rodney Drive
Roundabout, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the
following location:
Roundabout, at the intersection of Independence
Street, Gordonville Road, and East Rodney Drive, 300
feet north of the roundabout center, 321 feet south of
the roundabout center, 370 feet east of the roundabout
center, and 287 feet west of the roundabout center -
15 MPH
ARTICLE 2 . It is the intention of the governing body and it
is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance shall
become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this Code may
be renumbered to accomplish such intention.
ARTICLE 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten days after its final passage and approval .
