AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT
CLAIM DEED TO CHARLES F. BLATTNER VOLUNTARY TRUST
DATED FEBRUARY 26, 1996, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON
ROCKWOOD DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1. The Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a Quit
Claim Deed to Charles F. Blattner Voluntary Trust dated February
26, 1996, for property located on Rockwood Drive, in the City
and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, more particularly
described as follows:
A PART OF OUTLOT NO. 29, UNITED STATES PRIVATE SURVEY
NO. 2199, TOWNSHIPc31 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE
FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at a 4" iron pin (found) at a corner in the
West line of Block "C", Rockwood Place as recorded in
Plat Book No. 3 at Page No. 37 of the land records of
the County Recorder' s Office; thence S 07° 20' 20" W,
197 . 56 feet along the West line of said Block "C" to
an axle (found) on the North right-of-way line of
Rockwood Drive and being the beginning of a non-
tangent curve, concave to the Northeast, having a
radius of 244 . 93 feet, a central angle of 17° 02' 25"
and from which a radial line bears, N 20° 00' 08" E;
thence in a Southeasterly direction along said curve
and right-of-way line, 72 . 84 feet to a 4" iron pin
(set) ; thence N 12° 18' 15" W, 215.33 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 0. 17 acres, more or
less .
ARTICLE 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and

THIS QUIT CLAIM DEED, executed this r day of Pu''4 iiv, ? 2017, by
the Grantor, the CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, a constitutional charter city and
political subdivision of the State of Missouri, whose mailing address is 401 Independence Street,
Cape Girardeau, MO 63703, to the Grantee, the CIIARLES F. BLATTNER VOLUNTARY
TRUST DATED 2/26/96, whose mailing address is 600 Highland Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO
63701.
WITNESSETH: That said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar
($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by said Grantee, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby remise, release and quit claim unto said Grantee forever, all
the right, title, interest and claim which said Grantor has in the following real property described
below and located in the County of Cape Girardeau and State of Missouri, to -wit:
Beginning at a '/2" iron pin (found) at the Northeast corner of Lot No. 1, Block
"B", Rockwood Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book No. 4 at Page No. 28
of the land records of the County Recorder's Office; thence S 07° 20' 20" W,
197.56 feet along the East line of said Lot No. I to an axle (found) on the North
right-of-way line of Rockwood Drive and being the beginning of a non -tangent
curve, concave to the Northeast, having a radius of 244.93 feet, a central angle of
17° 02' 25" and from which a radial line bears, N 20° 00' 08" E; thence in a
Southeasterly direction along said curve and right-of-way line, 72.84 feet to a'/2"
iron pin (set); thence N 12° 18' 15" W, 215.33 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 0.17 acres, more or less.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining to said Grantee, and unto its
heirs, successors and assigns, forever, so that neither said Grantor, nor its successors and assigns,
nor any other person or persons for it or in its name or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or
demand any right or title to the above described real property, or any part thereof, but it and
every one of them shall, by these presents, be excluded and forever barred.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said Grantor has signed and sealed these presents, the date
first above written.

behalf of said City by authority of its City Council, and acknowledged said instrument to be the
free act and deed of said City.
