AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE T OF
SECTION 26-260 OF THE CITY CODE, BY
AMENDING HANDICAPPED PARKING ALONG
PORTIONS OF THEMIS STREET AND BENTON
STREET, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE 1 . Those portions of Schedule T of Section 26-260 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
which established handicapped parking at the following location :
Themis Street, south side, beginning at a point of 83
feet west of the Southwest corner of Themis Street and
Frederick Street and continuing Westward along the
south curb a distance of 19 feet and there
terminating.

ARTICLE 2 . Schedule T of Section 26-260 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby
amended by establishing handicapped parking along portions of
Themis Street and Benton Street in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, at the following location :
Benton Street, east side, beginning at a point 335
feet north of the intersection of Benton Street and
William Street, and continuing northward for a
distance of 20 feet along the east curb line of Benton
• Street and then terminating.
ARTICLE 3 . It is the intention of the governing body and it
is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance shall
become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this Code may
be renumbered to accomplish such intention .
ARTICLE 4 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten days after its final passage and approval .
