A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH SSM HEALTH CARDINAL GLENNON
CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, FOR OFFICE SPACE AT THE
CAPE GIRARDEAU REGIONAL AIRPORT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Manager, for and on behalf of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to
execute the Third Amendment to Lease Agreement with SSM Cardinal
Glennon Children's Hospital, for office space at the Cape
Girardeau Regional Airport, in the City of Cape Girardeau. The
Amendment shall be in substantially the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A, which document is hereby approved by the City
Council, with such changes therein as shall be approved by the
officers of the City executing the same.

THIRD AMENDMENT TO
LEASE AGREEMENT

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital
This THIRD AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT ("Amendment") is effective December
1, 2015 ("Effective Date"), by and between SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, a Missouri
nonprofit corporation, d/b/a SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital ("LESSEE") and the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri ("LESSOR").
WHEREAS, LESSEE, under its former name SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center,
and LESSOR entered into a Lease Agreement ("Lease") effective December 1, 2012, which was
subsequently amended on December 1, 2013 and December 1, 2014, for approximately 917 usable square
feet, located at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport at 4021 John E. Godwin Memorial Drive, Cape
Girardeau, MO 63780; and
WHEREAS, LESSEE and LESSOR desire to modify certain provisions of the Lease as set forth
below in order that the Lease, as modified, is acceptable to both parties for execution.
THEREFORE, it is understood and agreed upon by the parties as follows:
The Lease shall be extended for an additional one (1) year until November 30, 2016.
2. The last sentence of Section 7, paragraph 2 shall be replaced with the following:
LESSOR shall provide and maintain hand fire extinguishers for the interior of the building
in accordance with applicable safety codes.
All other terms of the Lease shall remain in full force and effect. If the terms of the Lease in any
way conflict with or are otherwise inconsistent with the terms of this Amendment, this Amendment shall
govern and control.
