AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED
FROM THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION, FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ALONG INTERSTATE 55, IN THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby accepts, and agrees to accept, a Quit Claim Deed from
the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, property
located along Interstate 55, in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri. described as follows:
A tract of land lying and being situated in part
of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 27, Township 31 North, Range 13 East
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commence at a found #5 Rebar w/ Cap at the Corner
of Sections 27, 28, 33, and 34, Township 31
North, Range 13 East; thence N 84 deg. 39 min. 21
sec. E, a distance of 3517.14 feet to a found
Steel MHTC (Missouri Highways and Transportation
Commission) Boundary Marker, 149.83 feet left of
Route I-55 median centerline station 1120+11.64,
said point being located on the existing Easterly
MHTC Boundary line of I-55 and being the Point of
Beginning; thence along said MHTC Boundary line S
66 deg. 19 min. 36 sec. E a distance of 141.33
feet to a found Steel MHTC Boundary Marker,
249.92 feet left of Route I-55 median centerline
station 1121+11.42; thence S 21 deg. 15 min. 22
sec. E a distance of 245.25 feet to a set #5
Rebar w/ Cap, 249.99 feet left of Route I-55
median centerline station 1123+56.68, said point
being located on the South line of said Section
