AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS RELATED TO TWO CDBG INDUSTRIAL
INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS, AND A WILDLIFE
ASSESSMENT GRANT, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
JUNE 30, 2014, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to a CDBG
Industrial Infrastructure Grant from the Missouri Department of
Economic Development for:
Development Service (Community Development Block Grant Fund) -
Seven Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($707,000.00) to cover
administrative and other infrastructure costs related to the
location of a new distribution center in Cape Girardeau's North
Industrial Park.
ARTICLE 2. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to a CDBG
Industrial Infrastructure Grant from the Missouri Department of
Economic Development for:
Development Service (Community Development Block Grant Fund) -
Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) to cover pass through
payments made to Southeast Missouri University Foundation to assist
with the location of Creative Labs Industries Incubator in Cape
Girardeau.
ARTICLE 3. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to a Wildlife
Hazard Assessment Grant from the Federal Aviation Administration
for:
Administrative (Airport Fund) - Thirty-five Thousand
Fifty Dollars ($35,050.00) to cover the professional
services and contract administration related a wildlife
hazard assessment for the Cape Girardeau Regional
Airport.
ARTICLE 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
