AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PERMANENT
UTILITY EASEMENT EXECUTED BY DAVID B.
KNIGHT, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF
THE ISLE OF CAPRI CASINO, IN THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby accepts a Permanent Utility Easement executed by
David B. Knight, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, said easement located south of the Isle of Capri
Casino, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described
as follows:
ITEM 1: THOSE PORTIONS OF LOT 3 OF RANGE 'K",
OUTLOT 1, AND LOT 1 OF RANGE "L" IN THE CITY AND
COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
Commence at the Southwest corner of Lot No. 1 of
Range "E", said point being also the Northeast
corner of the intersection of Broadway Street and
Main Street; thence North 06°14150", East, along
the East line of Main Street, 1287.95 feet;
thence South 83°44128" East, 98.57 feet to the
Point of Beginning (as shown on Exhibit A);
thence continue, South 83°44'28" East, 0.80 feet;
thence North 07°28'24" East, 150.25 feet to a
curve to the right having a Radius of 1455.39
feet; thence along said Curve a Length of 30.49
feet; thence North 19°56'58" West, 2.76 feet;
thence South 07°50'58" West, 83.19 feet; thence
South 07°04'20" West, 100.00 feet to the Point of
Beginning containing 219.257 square feet, more or
less.
ITEM 2: THOSE PORTIONS OF LOTS 2 AND 3 OF RANGE
"L" IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commence at the southeast corner of the Isle of
Capri Casino property, reference record document
number 2012-00626, thence westward along the
south property line of the Isle of Capri property
at North 84°09'43" East a distance of 15.0 ft,
thence southward along the existing sewer
easement line obtained in 1996 at South 17016105"
West a distance of 130.0 ft, this being the Point
of Beginning (as shown on Exhibit A), thence
continue along the existing sewer easement line
at South 17016105" West a distance of 25.0 ft,
thence turn westward perpendicular to the
existing sewer easement line a distance of 18
inches, thence turn northward and parallel to the
existing sewer easement line at North 17°16'05"
East a distance of 25.0 ft, thence turn eastward
perpendicular to the existing sewer easement line
a distance of 18 inches back to the Point of
Beginning, containing 37.5 square feet, more or
less.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approy1.
